Montblanc 146 - Black (Pen 2440)

Nib: 14 Kt Broad Italic

This Montblanc 146 was first purchased in September 1978 by a friend of mine. He recently downsized from a large house to a retirement community, so his collection came my way. This pen comes with the original papers and the original sales receipt from Germany but no box. The nib is a 14 Kt Broad italic, although the edges aren't that sharp - it feels more like a general broad. A good signature pen. It's been used, but it's in very good condition. A bit of brassing to the cap band, and there is small chip on the inside of the cap lip. 5 5/8", 142 mm.
