About Ross

I'm a retired pediatrician who began using fountain pens during my college days. In the 1990s, I was looking for a new hobby so I began restoring old fountain pens. What I quickly learned was that pens can begin to pile up pretty quickly, so I started to sell on E-Bay. I didn't enjoy it, so I created Rosspens.com in 1998 in order to control the selling process. The web site is a bit primitive, but it works. I also attend some of the regional pen shows close to my home in North Carolina.
