Moore 94-B - Striated Gray and Brown Celluloid (Pen 2553)

Nib: 14 Kt extra Fine

This is a gorgeous Moore 94-B from the late 1930s, early 40s. It's in excellent condition. These came with clear sections or black hard rubber. This one has a clear section and a 14 Kt Life Maniflex nib. In theory, a Maniflex nib offered the rigidity needed to go through many copies of carbon paper, while also having enough flexibility to offer line variation. In reality, you generally get one direction or the other. This one is flexible like reinforced concrete is flexible. However, it's a nice writer for an extra-fine nib. Lever filler with a new sac. There are three engraved initials - WCL - although they're quite subtle. 5", 127 mm.
