Parker Challenger - Gray-green-marbled (Pen 2590)

Nib: 14 Kt Medium Flex

This Challenger is a mixed marriage. The pen is from the US with a date code of 1939. The nib is from England and is a nice 14 Kt medium flex. There's some thinning of the plating on the cap band, which has quite a bit of desk wear. The plastic looks great. The pen is a button filler. The ink-vue section is dark, but you can see the ink level. The pen's primary virtue is the nib as a writing implement - it's fun. 5 3/16", 130 mm.
