Sapphire Flat-top Conklin Endura - Junior - Pen 831

Nib: 14 Kt Endura F/M

This is a late 1920s Conklin Endura Flat-top in the junior size. It's a lever filler. There's mild fading of the color towards the end of barrel, where the engraving "E9" can be seen, but the sapphire color is for the most part striking. There's also a name engraved: "Jack". There is typical brassing of the clip at both ends, while the cap ring has no brassing. A new sac was installed. The Endura nib is gold, presumably 14 Kt, and is rigid, between fine and medium in my judgement. 4 1/2", 112 mm.
